On the occasion of the 818th anniversary of Great Mongolia, the 113th anniversary of the restoration of national freedom and independence, and the 103rd anniversary of the People's Revolution, according to Order No. 96 of the President of Mongolia dated July 3, 2024, NAMSRAIN JAVZMAAD, head of the Laboratory of Natural History Museum, was awarded the title of Honored Cultural Worker of Mongolia. N. Javzmaa was born in Gunbulag, Sukhbaatar District, Sukhbaatar Province. In 1980-1992, he graduated from the University of Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria as a manager of travel and tourism geography, and graduated from the National University of Science and Technology as a natural science teacher and gameologist. He is a doctoral candidate in Cultural Studies of the National University of Mongolia and has been working as a manager, director, and head of the department for 32 years in the field of natural sciences and culture since 1992. Working with the mission of enriching and documenting the museum's collection with artifacts, identifying artifacts found in foreign countries and creating a unified database, displaying cultural heritage to the public and making it accessible to the public is the foundation of the current Natural History Museum, which has not been open to the public since 2013. created and organized together with the Dinosaur Museum in 2019. In 2013, for the first time in Mongolia, a giant temporary exhibition building was built in Sukhbaatar Square, the main square of the country's capital, and the exhibition "T-Bataar has come home" was organized for foreign and domestic citizens, children and the public. By showing the exhibition to the tourists who came to Mongolia, in a very short period of time, more than 120 million MNT were collected from the state budget, setting a record that has not been set in the history of the museum of Mongolia, as well as in the field of culture and art. The educational program was first developed and implemented since 2017. The feature of this program is a model program that will attract the interest of children about how ancient animal and plant fossils enter and arrive at the museum as exhibits, as well as through which channels they become museum exhibits. organizing more than 150 exhibitions, independently hosting more than 150 simplified children's programs on natural science, and continuing to educate on the radio of MNT.
