The 4th issue of the series of works on the collection of the Natural History Museum’s collection, “Collection of Amphibians, Reptiles and Fish”, has been published.
The collection of amphibians, reptiles and fish of the museum began in 1956 with the Mongolian toad (Strauchbufo raddei Strauch, 1876) collected by R. Rinchen, an employee of the Department of Natural History of the State Central Museum, and has now been enriched with more than 380 collections collected from Mongolia and abroad. In order to promote the collection of amphibians, reptiles and fish stored in the collection of the Natural History Museum, which represents the diversity of amphibians, reptiles and fish, and to provide information on the preservation and protection of biological diversity, it is unique in that it is enriched with a brief scientific description of the collection (in Mongolian and English), photographs and drawings, and is ready for readers and enthusiasts.
