The new construction project of the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Mongolia is a major development of great importance in the fields of science, education, and tourism. The museum is being built in the Great Sky with three main blocks (A, B, C). The total construction area is 47,733 m². Block A - the hall of the origin of the universe, geography and geology exhibits, educational program rooms, and an international conference hall. Block B - the hall of the origin of man, science halls, temporary exhibitions, a training theater, and the museum treasury. Block C - the paleontological or dinosaur section, which will display rare and precious artifacts found in Mongolia. The museum's construction is 66 percent complete, and it will be partially completed in 2026 and fully operational in 2027. It will employ about 250 employees, have 571 parking spaces, and create an educational and recreational environment with a theater, a park, an artificial lake, and a bird watching area in the outdoor area. The project was funded by the Government, The capital is fully supporting the project and, if implemented, will: Expand education based on natural sciences, Create conditions for children and youth to become interested in science, Create a new tourism center, Promote Mongolia's natural heritage and artifacts at the global level.
