Congratulations on the 101st anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic and the adoption of the first Constitution.
This day is a guarantee that we will never forget and always remember the deeds of our people, who have a great historical tradition of struggle and statehood, who have maintained and protected their independence and freedom from generation to generation.
The Mongolian state tradition, which dates back to Modun Shanyu, has never faded. As we reach the 20th century, we have declared our independence and declared our state twice. In 1206, Emperor Genghis Khan first founded the Great Mongol Empire, and 700 years later, in 1911, Mongolian patriots led by Bogd Javzundamba revived and declared their state.
We should not forget that the history of Mongolia in the 20th century was a history of great struggles to gain, recognize, and confirm independence. In the midst of this struggle, Mongolia became a republic, and was declared a republic by the First State Great Khural, Resolution 14, Article I, at 16:17 on November 26, 1924.
Mongolia transitioned to a representative parliamentary system elected by its people for the first time, and subsequently, in 1940, 1960, and 1992, by enriching and revising the form and content of governance in its Constitution, it has become a proud foundation for preserving and strengthening the independence and sovereignty of the country through generations.
