THE 17TH WORLD HORSE ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD IN MONGOLIA FOR THE FIRST TIME. For the first time in Mongolia, the 17th World Horse Archery Championship will be held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2025 at the foot of the “Taij Khairkhan” mountain in the Nalaikh district. This competition is unique in that it is one of the main events of the “Nomad” World Cultural Festival. It not only brings together the best archers from more than 30 countries of the world, but also has historical significance by including the traditional Mongolian archery “Bombog Namnaa” as an official world championship event. This is an important strategic step to promote the unique traditions of national culture and sports internationally and attract the interest of the young generation. 15 top archers who have won national championships and are ranked in the world rankings will represent Mongolia.
